Theatre Production Funded By Student Written Grant
Noel Nunn-Faron had no idea of the incredible and unique experience she would encounter when she signed up for a course crossing the disciplines of theatre, history, communications, business, English and non-profit management.
Now the sophomore from O’Fallon, Mo wants to figure out how to take the class again.
It all goes back to a well-liked and trusted faculty member, Dr. Michael Kateman.
The class is called Voices of Arrow Rock Production, and it is built around a theatre series called The Voices of Arrow Rock. This year’s class produced The Great Protector, and Nunn-Faron was the stage manager. She and her classmates, Steven Tetteh, Ethan Quarchioni, and Patrick Hauschildt teamed up in class and wrote a grant through the Buckner Foundation to support the production.
“It was an incredible experience,” said Nunn-Faron. “I’ll be the director next time.”
