President’s Speaker Series to Debut

Missouri Valley College is pleased to announce the creation of the President’s Speaker Series, and President Joe Parisi has wasted no time getting the inaugural event off the ground.

The new series, Parisi said, has been established to challenge minds, engage our academic community, and welcome scholars and thought leaders to our campus.

“I’m so excited to get this launched,” Parisi said. “This will be another academic tool for our faculty to expose students to professionals in a variety of fields. It will strengthen our position academically, and students will be able to see ideas in action and observe winning behaviors that will serve them well as they prepare the step into the workforce.”

Parisi said an announcement is forthcoming on the first speaker. “We’re just ironing out the details,” he said. “We’ll announce the speaker in the next few days.”

The President’s Speaker Series will occur once per semester at MVC. Business leaders and members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend, he said.
