New Student Government Leadership Selected

Missouri Valley College students have selected Kloee Mills and Alexas Leeper as Student Government President and Vice President for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Both spent the past year working as student ambassadors in the admissions department. Mills, from Oak Grove, Mo., is studying biology. Leeper, from Essex, Mo., is pre-nursing.

Mills and Leeper plan to be “immersed in student activities” and want to advocate for the student body, particularly in the area of public safety, encouraging training and preparation for severe weather situations and other emergencies. They said they look forward to meeting with MVC President Joe Parisi on a regular basis.

While the do not officially begin their positions until August, both will be meeting with the Missouri Valley College board of trustees later this week.
