MVC President Announces Promotions
Missouri Valley College President Joe Parisi has announced two promotions in the college’s finance division—Jada Sherry has been promoted to acting vice president of finance and David Poe has been promoted to director of accounting.
Parisi said both have done an exemplary job and he is proud of their leadership for the college.
“These two individuals are rock stars and they stand out in their leadership,” Parisi said. “They are quite deserving.”
Poe, an alumnus with a degree in accounting, is a Marshall resident.
“Not only has Missouri Valley College laid the foundation of my education, but it now has provided an excellent start to my career and the opportunity to grow with new responsibilities.”
Sherry, also an alum, was hired in February as corporate controller. She lives in Slater.
“My heart is full of pride and joy as I work alongside some of the most talented and passionate professionals in higher education,” she said. “I cannot wait to collaborate, learn, and contribute to the management team and watch Valley’s success grow, starting with each student we serve.”
Parisi said former chief financial officer Dick Gozia will continue to serve the college in a senior leadership role working on special projects.
