MISSOURI VALLEY COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME VERSUS CULVER-STOCKTON COLLEGE POSTPONED
The season-opening game for the Missouri Valley College football team, which was set for Saturday, Sept. 12 against Culver-Stockton College (Mo.), has been postponed.
This decision has been made due to COVID-19 protocols, and will allow student-athletes to return to competition in the safest manner possible.
The make-up date is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Gregg-Mitchell Field on the MVC campus in Marshall, Mo.
MVC has implemented numerous health and safety practices and guidance to protect students, faculty and staff. Efforts to slow the spread of the virus have included conducting baseline testing on campus, requiring face coverings and mandating social distancing.
