Missouri Valley College COVID-19 Update
Marshall, Mo. (August 2, 2021)—Missouri Valley College has updated some of its COVID-19 protocols. Effective August 3, 2021, all students, employees and visitors on the Missouri Valley campus will be required to wear a facemask while inside of all campus buildings, including classrooms. Students will not be required to wear masks when in their own residence hall room, and employees will not be required to wear one while alone in their own office space.
As the fall 2021 semester approaches, Missouri Valley has a plan in place to gateway test all students and employees for COVID-19 during the check-in process.
“I strongly encourage the entire Missouri Valley community to consider being vaccinated against COVID-19,” said MVC President Dr. Bonnie Humphrey. “Vaccination is the key to getting back to a campus life that we all know and love.”
Missouri Valley College has released vaccine incentive programs for students as well as faculty and staff. All students and employees should check their email to learn more about those programs.
At this time, Missouri Valley is still planning for in-person classes as normal, and cleaning protocols used during the 2020-21 academic year will still be in place.
