McCarroll Begins Work in Advancement Office

Josh McCarroll, an experienced fund-raiser and legislative strategist, has joined the advancement team at Missouri Valley College as development director.

McCarroll will work alongside Vice President of Institutional Advancement Eric Sappington. McCarroll’s primary responsibilities will include visiting with major donors and day to day management of the annual fund.

“Josh will be instrumental in strategic fund-raising efforts,” Sappington said. “It is clear that connecting with alumni and friends to encourage philanthropic support is a passion of his.”

McCarroll, from Mission, Kansas, has a bachelor’s degree from Culver Stockton College. He and his wife, Hannah Gerling-McCarroll, have one child, Hudson.

“I’m excited to be here,” McCarroll said. “I really get the best of both worlds by getting to talk to people about what makes Valley special, and then getting to see in in person on this beautiful campus.”
