Jada Sherry Hired as College’s Corporate Controller

Missouri Valley College has hired mid-Missourian Jada Sherry as its new corporate controller.

Sherry, from Gilliam, is an MVC alumna who has significant financial experience over the past decade, having served as a corporate controller and a senior accountant for previous employers.

MVC’s Chief Financial Officer Dick Gozia made the announcement to the college’s senior leadership this week. He said Sherry will lead the MVC accounting department and be responsible for all facets of preparation of the college’s financial statements, budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, and payroll taxes.

“We’re excited to have Sherry on board,” Gozia said. “She is an experienced accountant with excellent analytical and supervisory skills. She will be a valuable addition to our financial team.”
