Hilarious Almost Maine Coming to Eckilson-Mabee Theatre

Missouri Valley College’s Theatre Ensemble will present Almost Maine February 15-17 in the Eckilson-Mabee Theatre on campus. Admission is free for each show, all of which begin at 7:30 p.m.

Almost Maine, by John Cariani, is a series of nine amiably absurdist vignettes about love, with a touch of good-natured magic realism. One cold clear winter night, the residents of Almost find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised, hearts are broken.

The show is directed and designed by Professor Harold Hynick. The cast includes: Gabe Boatman, Sophie Cott, Andi Gooden, Rachel Mapes, Kaya McCory, Liz McDonald, Colin Williams, Felipe Yamashiro Souza, and Noel Nunn-Faron.
