Where elementary teachers are usually working with eager students who are new to learning, middle school teachers need to rely on their ability to design interesting lesson plans to win the engagement of their students. The “middle years” can be a challenging time for students both emotionally and academically, middle school students depend on teachers who are able to adapt lesson plans accordingly.
