Ty Phillips Named Top NAIA Defender in National Award

Marshall, Mo. (December 24, 2014)- Missouri Valley College student-athlete, Senior Defensive Lineman Ty Phillips (East St. Louis, Ill.), has been recognized by the Little Rock (Ark.) Touchdown Club as the top vote-getter in the NAIA for the 2014 Cliff Harris Award.   Phillips was one of 14 NAIA players, and 56 other players from across NCAA Division II and III, chosen as a finalist for this year’s award which recognizes the top defensive player in small-college football...
