Due to illness, the below event has been canceled.

The Missouri Valley College Music Department will welcome Dr. J. Bradley Baker, piano and Dr. Jen Stephenson, soprano to campus for a guest artist recital on Wednesday, January 17 at 7 p.m. in the Eckilson-Mabee Theatre.

Drs. Baker and Stephenson are faculty members at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. The recital will feature works of prominent Russian Composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, one of the most well-known composers of the Romantic era.

“This will be a fantastic way to start our semester,” said Ryan Hampton, associate professor of vocal music. “Drs. Baker and Stephenson are nationally known for the work they do, and I'm looking forward to having them interact with our students."

Dr. Baker and Dr. Stephenson will also present a masterclass for voice and piano students on Thursday, January 18 at 1 p.m. in the Eckilson-Mabee Theatre.  Both the recital and masterclass are free and open to the public.
