Third Go Rounds Continue for Viking Rodeo Teams at CNFR

Marshall, Mo. (June 12, 2017)- The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s rodeo teams continued competition at the 2017 College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo.


For the men’s team, Senior Dalton Kingery (Monroe, Iowa) and Senior Matt Borton (Ostego, Mich.) competed in their third go rounds in bareback riding.  Borton finished with a 73.5 in his go round, and moved into No.  in the standings with an average of 212 points.  Kingery finished with a score of 67.5, and is No. 23 in the event with an average of 67.5.


The Viking men’s rodeo team is No. 13 in the standings with a score of 195.  The women’s team comes in at No. 10 with 120 points


Competition at the 2017 CNFR continues with additional third go round competition at 8 p.m., CST, at the Casper Events Center.
