MVC Women's Tennis Drops Matches to Evangel, Matches at Graceland Sunday Postponed

Marshall, Mo. (April 12, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College women’s tennis team went on the road and played Evangel University in a Heart of America Athletic Conference matchup. Evangel currently sits in the “others receiving votes” category in the NAIA Women’s Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.


The Vikings fell to the Crusaders 6-3 in matches. The loss snaps a nine-match winning streak for the MVC women’s tennis team. The Vikings fall to 9-3 overall and 1-1 in HAAC play. Evangel improves to 10-3 overall and 4-1 in the conference.


The men’s and women’s tennis teams were scheduled to play at Graceland University Sunday, however the matches have been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.
