MVC Men's Lacrosse Moves Up Two Spots in Latest Coaches' Poll

Marshall, Mo. (April 8, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College men's lacrosse team continues its climb up the MCLA Coaches' Division II Top 25 Poll in the program’s inaugural season.  


The Vikings moved up two spots and are now ranked No. 21 in this week’s poll. MVC picked up two wins last week and have a 9-1 record on the season with a 3-0 mark in the GLRC Division II Northwest.  


This marks the fourth-straight week the Vikings have been ranked in the poll. MVC picked up two wins over the weekend, defeating Benedictine College at home 31-2 and knocking off Creighton University on the road 26-5.


The Vikings have two games scheduled for the upcoming weekend. MVC will play at St. Louis University Saturday at 4:30 p.m., and host University of South Dakota Sunday at 1 p.m. For the complete rankings go to
