MVC Women's Golf Opens Season at Graceland Invitational

Marshall, Mo. (March 29, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College golf team opened its season at the Graceland University Invitational in Maryville, Mo., Friday and Saturday. The women’s team placed No. 13 overall with its top scorer placing in the top 20.


Leading the women’s team was Clarissa Molina who placed No. 17 overall with a two-day score of 180 (+36).


As a team the Vikings shot an 859, with the team champion William Penn University shooting a 667.


The women’s golf team will next be in action Apr. 7-8 at the MVC Spring Invitational at Indian Foothills Golf Course. The men’s team will be in action Mar.31-Apr. 1 at the Evangel Spring Invitational in Springfield, Ill.
