MVC Men's Volleyball to Host NAIA South Tournament

Marshall, Mo. (March 27, 2014)- Missouri Valley College will be the site for the NAIA South Men's Volleyball Tournament this Friday and Saturday.  All matches will be played at the Burns Athletic Complex on the Missouri Valley campus and will feature three Nationally ranked teams. Competing in the tournament will be No. 3 Park University, No. 4 Missouri Baptist University, No. 9 Missouri Valley College, Hannibal-LaGrange University and Lindenwood University-Belleville.


A total of four matches will be played over the two-day tournament, with the tournament champion receiving an automatic berth into the 2014 NAIA Men's Volleyball National Invitational presented by Tachikara, which will be held April 10-12 in Denver, Colo.


NAIA South Tournament Schedule:

Friday, March  28

2 p.m.- Opening Round Match, Hannibal-LaGrange vs. LU-Belleville

4:30 p.m.-Semifinal Match #1, No. 4 Missouri Baptist vs. No. 9 Missouri Valley

7 p.m.- Semifinal Match #2, No. 3 Park vs. Opening Round Winner

Saturday, Mar. 29

12 p.m.- Championship Match
