MVC Men's Lacrosee Continues Climb Up Coaches' Poll

Marshall, Mo. (March 25, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College men's lacrosse team won its only game last week and was rewarded by moving up one spot in the latest MCLA Coaches' Division II Top 25 Poll.  The Vikings are now ranked No. 23, with a 6-1 record on the season.  This marks the third-straight week the Vikings have been ranked in the poll.


MVC defeated St. Ambrose University at home, 21-5.  The win was also the program's first in the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference Northwest Division.  The Vikings have played one other team currently ranked in the Division II poll, No. 15 DePaul University.


The Vikings have one game scheduled this week, traveling to Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.  The game will take place Friday at 7 p.m.
