MVC Women's Tennis Defeats Stephens College Wednesday

 Marshall, Mo. (March 19, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College women’s tennis team won its third-straight matchup, defeating Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., Wednesday afternoon.


The Vikings defeated Stephens 7-2 in matches, and continue its winning streak from matches played in Hilton Head, S.C., from last week. The Vikings have won three matchups in a row, including victories over Spring Arbor University and Ithaca College last week.


Wednesday’s win over Stephens College improves MVC to 4-2 on the season.


Both the men’s and women’s tennis teams will next play at home for the first time this season, hosting Johnson County Community College at Indian Foothills Park. Matches get underway at 3 p.m., on Mar. 25.
