MVC Men's Tennis Team Receives Votes in Latest Coaches' Poll

Marshall, Mo. (March 19, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College men’s tennis remains just outside the third regular season edition of the NAIA Men’s Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Vikings are in the poll’s “others receiving votes” category where they have been located since the preseason.


The Viking men’s tennis team improved to 5-1 on the season after winning all five of its matchups at in Hilton Head, S.C., over spring break. The Vikings defeated three NCAA programs, Shepherd University, Edgewood College and Ithaca College, along with two NAIA programs, Milligan University and Spring Arbor University.


The Vikings will play their first home matches of the season, hosting Johnson County Community College Tuesday at 3 p.m., at Indian Foothills Park.
