MVC Men's Lacrosse Team Enters Top 25 Poll

Marshall, Mo. (March 12, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College men’s lacrosse team is off to a 4-0 start to the season, and are now receiving National recognition. The Vikings are ranked for the first time in this week’s MCLA Coaches’ Division II Top 25 Poll. The Vikings are ranked No. 25 this week.


MVC has wins over Missouri State University 16-10, Missouri Baptist University 14-7, Rockhurst University 16-9 and Wheaton College 30-7 to begin the program’s inaugural season.


The Vikings have two games scheduled this week, both on the road. MVC will play Robert Morris College in Aurora, Ill., Thursday at 5 p.m. Saturday, the Vikings will play a neutral site game against No. 21 DePaul University in St. Louis, Mo., at 1 p.m.
