MVC Men's Volleyball Stays Ranked No. 9 in Latest Poll

Marshall, Mo. (March 10, 2014)- The Missouri Valley College men’s volleyball team went 3-2 in their four matches last week, but remained ranked No. 9  in the latest NAIA Men’s Volleyball Top 10 Poll released Monday.


MVC lost its first match of the week, a 3-0 defeat at home to No. 3 Park University. MVC then played in the St. Ambrose Tournament over the weekend, picking up wins over Culver-Stockton College, Graceland University and Emmanuel College. MVC also lost to No. 1 Concordia University-Irvine at the St. Ambrose Tournament. The Vikings are 18-10 overall and 2-4 in the NAIA South.


The Vikings have the next week off, as their next match is scheduled for Tuesday March 18, at home against Hannibal-LaGrange University.
