Raymond S. Sullivan

Class of 1976

“Sid” Sullivan was born and raised in Miami, Missouri and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1937.  Sid earned four letters in basketball and three in baseball during his athletic career with the Vikings.

Following graduation Sid earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, and worked for six years for Wilson Sporting Goods in both Kansas City and St. Louis, and three months for General Motors in a Military intern Program.

Most of Sid’s career has been with the United State Navy, attaining the rank of Captain, and receiving the Legion of Merit upon his retirement from active duty in 1970.
